Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. This role involves architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions, ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems, and developing and maintaining secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Develop and maintain secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives
  • Troubleshoot optimize and support existing SCADAMES deployments
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, and database technologies. You should also have hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, including REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols. Additionally, you should have proficiency with industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA HMIs, and plant floor connectivity. Familiarity with manufacturing standards, such as ISA95, ISA88, and ISA99, is also required.
