ASIC Test Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog, mixed signal, and digital circuit design and testing.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for various chip functions.

  • Design, implement, and validate internal loopback, SCAN, and other tests.

  • Implement SERDES (CPRI, PCIE) test protocols for internal and external loopback.

  • Create and manage ATPG scripts for stuck-at, transition delay, and cell-aware/small delay defect testing.

  • Conduct Boundary Scan (BSDL, IEEE1149.1 & IEEE1149.6) testing and programming LTU chips.

  • Perform High Voltage Stress Testing, Very Low Voltage (VLV) Testing, IO Parametric Tests, IDD testing, and Top Level Verification.

  • Verify Processor Performance using Coremark/Dhrystone patterns and Temperature Sensor calibration and reading.

  • Support Failure Analysis, debug routines, and provide reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in ASIC Test Engineering.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in ADC/DAC, SERDES, ATPG, Boundary Scan, and Programming LTU chip.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Process Monitors, High Voltage Stress Testing, Very Low Voltage (VLV) Testing, IO Parametric Tests, and IDD testing.
  • Digital Circuit Design: Strong understanding of digital circuit design and mixed-signal testing.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
