Mainframe Testing Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Tester to join our team in Chennai, Pune, or Coimbatore. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with an immediate start.

About the Job:

  • Develop test strategies and plans to define the scope and approach of testing.
  • Analyze requirements and design test cases.
  • Prepare test data and JCL according to test scenarios.
  • Execute test cases by submitting jobs and analyzing results.
  • Report issues and collaborate with development and support teams.

Key Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in testing life cycles.
  • Knowledge of editing JCL or creating JCL to submit test batch jobs.
  • Awareness of TSO/ISPF commands in Mainframe.
  • Ability to analyze logs in Spool for abended jobs and provide root cause analysis.
  • Experience in STLC lifecycle or Agile methodology.
