Job Title: Senior Manager Project Finance

We seek an experienced Senior Manager Project Finance with expertise in financial structuring, project evaluation, and fundraising for renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will lead the financing strategy for solar projects, liaise with banks/financial institutions, and ensure timely financial closure to support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project financing activities for solar projects (Open Access, Rooftop, Utility-scale).
  • Build detailed financial models including IRR, DSCR, payback period, sensitivity analysis.
  • Manage end-to-end debt raising process – prepare DPRs, loan applications, negotiate, disburse.
  • Liaise with banks, NBFCs, investors, credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Review, negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, financial covenants.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Business Development, EPC, Legal) for financial due diligence, risk assessment.
  • Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Identify innovative financing structures like leasing, hybrid, green bonds to optimize project returns.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MBA Finance / CA / CFA / equivalent with strong financial background.
  • Minimum 8–12 years experience in project finance, preferably renewable energy / power / infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, financial closures.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, risk analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
