**Financial Reporting Analyst Job Description**

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to support the generation and analysis of critical financial reports. This role is essential for providing timely insights into project forecast accuracy and enabling proactive adjustments.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Sourcing & Preparation: Extract, transform, and prepare financial data from various source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting.
  • Report Development: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial reports and dashboards. This includes various views like overall summaries, category breakdowns, and detailed analyses.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify variances, and support reconciliation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with project teams to understand reporting needs, provide insights, and ensure reports facilitate effective decision-making.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

  • 5-6 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets from financial systems.
  • Expertise in data extraction and manipulation using SQL.
  • Strong experience developing reports with tools like Strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, and project accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
