Accounting Professional

  • We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to oversee daily accounting activities, perform general ledger functions, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP and APAC accounting standards, as well as excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with CA/CPA certifications preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop, with experience in variance analysis and budget preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions.
  • This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an Accounting Professional, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, while also identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger functions, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and customer billing.
  • Collaborate with production teams to track costs and performance metrics.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Implement and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CA/CPA certifications preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
