Job Profile:
Develop, implement, and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive business growth.
Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives.
Evaluate financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Possess knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, desirable but not essential.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Oversee internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Coordinate and manage external audits and examinations.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and ensure financial integrity.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Stay current with advancements in financial technology and recommend innovations to improve financial operations.
Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
CA qualification is mandatory.
CS, CPA, CFA CMA are a plus.
10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering organizations is a plus.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP, including IndAS accounting standards
Strategic thinking and business acumen.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
