Senior Financial Director

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Director to lead our financial function with a focus on strategic planning, controllership, investor relations, and financial operations.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and stability. As a Senior Financial Director, you will play a key role in driving financial discipline, compliance, and business scalability across the organization.

  1. Finance Controllership
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Oversee timely and accurate month-end/year-end closing and reporting.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  1. Strategic Finance & Business Planning
  • Develop long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation.
  • Drive initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and return on investment (ROI).
  1. Financial Operations
  • Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence.
  • Review and approve all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  1. Fundraising & Investor Relations
  • Support equity and debt fundraising efforts.
  • Build investor confidence through transparent and timely reporting.
  • Lead financial due diligence, board reporting, and investor communication.

Requirements:

  1. A Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  2. 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong background in finance controllership and compliance.
  4. Proven experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industries.
  5. Solid understanding of GAAP, audit practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
  6. Hands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance tools.
  7. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
