Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate

We are seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for researching complex financial and credit information for commercial business and high net worth customer loan packages, according to business unit standards within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area.
Key Responsibilities- Research and analyze financial and credit information for commercial business and high net worth customer loan packages.
- Review and analyze basic issues, policies, and procedures related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables.
- Underwrite loans with aggregate credit exposure based upon approved credit authority limits.
- Investigate credit standards and determine credit worthiness of high net worth loans.
- Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders including internal and external customers.
- 6+ months of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least a B. Com or an equivalent degree preferably MBA.
- Sound analytical thinking and high attention to detail with focus on research across various platforms.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- High level of personal motivation and strong interpersonal skills to work across time zones.
- 5+ years of work experience.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Ability to understand various financial documents including company prepared financial statements, company prepared financial statements, and U.S tax returns.
- Ability to review covenants and identify certain loan types to determine all necessary documents required to perform underwriting work.
