Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Specialist

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area, you will be responsible for researching complex financial and credit information for commercial business or high net worth customer loan packages. Your duties will include reviewing basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables. You will also be responsible for underwriting loans with aggregate credit exposure based upon approved credit authority limits, investigating credit standards and determining credit worthiness of high net worth loans, and collaborating and consulting with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers.
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Expected to perform quality check, quality assurance, investigation and reporting and closely working with I&P and stateside portfolio management team. Have a good understanding of quality assurance process and methodology. Undertake Quality checks for Internal triggers calculations, system of records (SOR), credit file archives completed by portfolio managers. Complete data quality checks on credit modification reports in accordance with testing plans and aligned to relevant policies, procedures and quality standards. Undertake client outreach for financial information and review the information and update SOR. Have a good understanding of financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement. Liaise with portfolio managers, relationship managers, loan specialist team for timely resolution of repairs. Complete all quality check activities within the stipulated timeframe to ensure remediation across systems on timely basis. Keep up to date to the changes in procedures and guidelines. Report the result of testing activities to Senior Stakeholders across Business Units. Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables. Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers.
