Integration Specialist

The Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in the seamless integration of disparate systems, ensuring efficient communication between complex components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain sophisticated integration services and APIs based on industry standards and best practices using IBM's App Connect Enterprise, DataPower and API Connect products.
  • Provide technical expertise for bank IT projects involving system integration through the listed IBM middleware products.
  • Perform comprehensive monitoring activities for supported systems, including operation of utilities to support customer implementations.
  • Responsible for maintenance and emergency response outside normal business hours as necessary to ensure general application health and/or system upgrades.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • IBM Professional Certification in App Connect Enterprise (or Integration Bus).
  • Strong expertise in REST APIs & Web Services.
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, Banking applications & RDBMS databases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IBM Professional Certification in DataPower, API Connect, MQ.
  • Formal training in two or more of the IBM Middleware products listed below.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is also critical.
