**Job Overview**

A key professional in our organization is required to assume responsibility for developing and implementing data migration strategies. This involves ensuring seamless transitions between legacy systems and the target platform.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy that aligns with program objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Assess data sources and identify potential risks associated with data migration.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of data migration activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement repeatable and automated data migration processes.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc.
  • Experience with Data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
