As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our internal developer platform. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining the core components of the platform, including APIs, tools, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop self-service capabilities that empower developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently, fostering a culture of autonomy and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, ensuring consistency and best practices across the board.
  • Develop and maintain golden paths for common development tasks, guaranteeing efficiency and reducing complexity.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform, driving innovation and improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and pain points, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Provide training and support to developers on how to use the platform effectively, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Gather feedback from developers and iterate on the platform based on their needs, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
Automation and Efficiency:
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and other repetitive tasks, freeing up time for high-value activities.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process, reducing delays and improving quality.
Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure that the platform is secure and compliant with relevant regulations, safeguarding sensitive data and assets.
  • Implement security best practices throughout the platform, mitigating risks and threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development and engineering principles.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or a related role, showcasing a track record of success and growth.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring familiarity with automation and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Java, or C++, highlighting a ability to write clean, efficient code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, demonstrating a capacity to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
