Senior AI Engineer – Product

We are seeking a seasoned Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge solutions that enhance product development workflows, engineering services, and organisational processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI model development, training, and deployment, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java. They should also be skilled in data science practices, feature engineering, training/testing pipelines, evaluation metrics, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Furthermore, they should have hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face), NLP, computer vision, and/or generative AI.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying AI models based on problem type and business objectives, maintaining transparency, interpretability, and regular updates of models, collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data relevance and accuracy while detecting and removing bias, managing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets for modelling, applying AI to improve hardware verification, software testing, and security checking, automating processes in account marketing, CRM, and organisational workflows, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to embed AI into production systems, deploying models into real-world environments with emphasis on scalability and reliability, monitoring performance, retraining, and refining models as needed, and maintaining clear documentation and version control for reproducibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years in engineering (software, hardware, or systems).
  • At least 3 years in AI/ML, with hands-on experience in model development, training, and deployment.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in AI, ML, Data Science, or related field, building domain-specific Co-Pilots, experience ensuring fairness, transparency, and explainability in AI systems, background in applying AI to engineering-heavy environments, and contributions to AI research, open-source projects, or published papers.
