Credit Audit Job Description
  • The role involves a comprehensive review of the credit audit process, encompassing both pre and post sanction stages, disbursement, and monitoring across Wholesale Banking and SME segments.
  • As a senior credit auditor, you will lead or participate in all business credit audits, overseeing a team of auditors to ensure timely commencement and closure of audits, along with documentation of working papers.
  • Your responsibility will be to prepare and submit high-quality audit reports within stipulated timeframes, ensuring timely submission of RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory requirements.
  • You will evaluate the quality of audit reports, focusing on correctness, consistency of data furnished, emphasis on policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices, revenue assurance, and risk coverage.
  • This role also entails conducting thematic audits, checklists, and special audits as required, coordinating with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensuring the quality of concurrent audit reports.
  • In addition, you will examine developments in credit-related areas and provide comfort to the Team Lead Audit on regulatory and control requirements of the Bank.
  • You will suggest improvements to existing processes/systems to enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
