About Model Risk Center of Excellence:

  • Spearheads the enterprise-wide model validation and control function to ensure the continued safety and soundness of models used across the organization.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide second-line defense risk management governance across EUCCs use by all lines of businesses.

The Quantitative Risk Control group is responsible for independent testing on controls established by EUCC Owners, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure requirements.

This role involves:

  1. Informing EUCC Owners of policy and procedure requirements and testing-related logistical information.
  2. Supporting EUCC Testing start date, pipeline management, and related escalation activities.
  3. Conducting independent second-line defense testing on controls established by EUCC Owners.
  4. Establishing communication routines to identify potential testing delays or challenges.
  5. Communicating findings to EUCC Owners and addressing related inquiries.
  6. Reviewing remediation materials and determining if they are adequate to close findings.
  7. Reviewing EUCC changes for impacts on rating, classification, and possible incremental testing needed.
  8. Supporting archival of documentation related to EUCC Testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in EUCC Testing, Audit, or Risk Management functions within a financial services organization.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required; proficiency in Tableau, SQL, MS Access preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and people management skills.
