Model Validation Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Model Validation Specialist to ensure that our models operate as designed, meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct independent testing and validation of models, analyzing statistical data and interpreting results.
- Evaluate model conceptual soundness, assess data quality, test computational accuracy, and perform outcomes analysis.
- Document findings, recommend management actions, and validate remediation activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in technical model development or model validation, with knowledge of model risk management and US regulatory requirements. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
Requirements:- 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of strong technical model development or model validation experience.
- Knowledgeable of model risk management and associated US regulatory requirements.
