Senior Legal Specialist

This senior role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to ensure compliance with legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

As a key member of our team, you will drive business growth through strategic decision-making, contractual obligations, intellectual property management, and operational alignment.

  • Develop commercial agreements through drafting, review, and negotiation to ensure enforceability, clarity, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure national and international law compliance, including Contract Law, Civil Law, Companies Act, and UN treaties.
  • Collaborate with leadership for compliant and strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain legal templates, SOPs, and repositories for streamlined processes and reduced turnaround times.
  • Support IP portfolio management and contribute to internal policy development for digital and physical assets.
  • Manage contract lifecycle using digital platforms and automation tools for efficiency.
  • Provide research and insights on emerging international frameworks, policies, and treaties relevant to the sector.
  • Participate in organizational reviews, internal training, and compliance initiatives for awareness and adherence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated program) from a recognized institution.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, preferably within the sector.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to International Law and UN Treaties is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multitask effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong interest in innovation and international regulatory developments is preferred.
