Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Contract Management Professional with extensive expertise in international arbitration, contract management, and risk mitigation.

  • Lead and manage international arbitration proceedings ensuring alignment with global legal standards and corporate interests.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts ensuring compliance and enforceability.
  • Vet contracts from a legal and risk perspective to ensure alignment with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

International Arbitration:
  • Manage international arbitration proceedings to ensure alignment with global legal standards and corporate interests.
Contract Management:
  • Develop, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts to ensure compliance and enforceability.
  • Analyse contracts from a legal and risk perspective to ensure alignment with company policies.
Claims & Risk Mitigation:
  • Oversee legal claims including vessel claims and operational disputes.
  • Identify potential liabilities and develop strategies for cost reduction and risk mitigation.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
  • Coordinate litigation matters with external counsel and represent the company in legal forums.
  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and favourably.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience preferably in a large manufacturing company.
