Business Partner Role

About this role:

As a key player in our organization's People Operations team, you will contribute to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment for our global team. You will support our leaders by providing accurate information and ensuring everyone has the tools they need to thrive.

  • Onboard new employees on their first day, introducing them to our company culture and policies.
  • Manage all aspects of onboarding, including asset and access tasks.
  • Conduct background verification processes for new hires, working with vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly check in with employees to monitor happiness and productivity levels.
  • Solve people-related conflicts or concerns in collaboration with our leadership team.
  • Be the single point of contact (SPOC) for the team, answering questions about our policies and culture.
  • Create engaging online and offline activities to boost team morale.
  • Develop and implement policies that reflect our organization's vision, mission, and values.
  • Minimize attrition and maximize retention through strategic programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
  • Issue important communications as needed.
  • Organize team events and outings, handling logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute people processes from start to finish.
  • Negotiate partnerships with vendors.
  • Process changes and payroll with the Finance team within agreed timelines.
  • Vet paperwork and contracts related to people operations.
  • Support the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams as needed.

    About you:

    • At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
    • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • The ability to handle sensitive matters with maturity and empathy.
    • High energy levels, with the capacity to run engagement activities.
    • A knack for understanding people.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven experience in People Operations, people programs, staffing, and/or large-scale people roles.
    • Knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations case management.
    • Data analysis skills, with the ability to develop recommendations based on insights.
    • Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
    • A self-starter who can work independently in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency with numbers, MS Office, and related tools like Fresh Team, Zoho, Deel, Just Works, etc.
    • Prior experience working with a remote, global team of over 250 people.
