Expert FIX Professional

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our global FIX Connectivity team. The successful candidates will be part of a close-knit team that collaborates with various stakeholders to translate bespoke business workflows into software solutions.
Responsibilities include external communication with client/broker tech teams and vendors, as well as involvement in strategic projects such as new feature rollouts, system improvements, and regulatory changes.
The ideal candidate will possess expert-level understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4) and programming language experience (Java, C++, C, Python). Additionally, they should have Unix/Linux-based O/S application knowledge and database expertise with basic SQL query writing skills (Oracle/SQL).
The successful candidate will also have familiarity with FIX certification process, experience in electronic trading environments, particularly in FIX onboarding or support roles, and networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts.
Furthermore, the candidate should have exposure to asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, and FX, as well as project tracking using Jira, documentation with Confluence, and strong communication skills.
Familiarity with scripting knowledge in Shell or Python, Algorithmic Trading, and experience in developing tooling and processes is desired.
Education requirements: engineering graduate from a premier institution.
