Sap Concur Technical Business Systems Specialist

Our company is seeking a Business Process Analyst to work with our DevOps team on deployment and support for SAP Concur. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing projects from end-to-end, including technical requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration.

1. Deliver and sustain new technical business systems solutions by participating in activities ranging from technical requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and technical process documentation.

2. Proactively scan for and resolve any system-related technical issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality.

3. Work and collaborate with the Project Manager to prioritize workload and agree client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

4. Manage multiple SAP Concur complex, global, multi-phased implementations following SAP Concur's implementation methodology.

5. Share knowledge on SAP Concur and upskill peers.

1. Experience in Travel and Expense modules of SAP Concur.

2. Strong functional consultant experienced in SAP Concur Expense implementation.

3. Experience in configuring the system according to client needs and scope of Concur products/services.

4. Experience with core Concur development tools including user administration, imports/exports, forms, workflows, audit rules.

5. Evaluate existing customizations, Business Add-Ins (BADI), and enhancements in SAP Concur.

6. Gather functional and business requirements from clients and translate into a functional hosted solution design according to client needs and scope of SAP Concur products/services.

7. Manage the global template/baseline configuration and display the ability to configure at a Global level as well as specific features and functionality at a Local level.

8. Create Global Client T&E Process Template and promote client template positioning and adherence during deployments.

9. Provide consultative expertise to clients, guiding them through key decisions such as approval or rejection of deviations from the T&E global process template and trade-offs to maintain project scope and timeline.

10. Conduct solution demos and functional knowledge transfer sessions according to methodology standards.

11. Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring creative/technical success.

12. Ability to perform issue identification, communications, and resolutions for moderately complex issues.

13. Guiding End-users – Provide user training.

14. Experience in SAP HCM and ERP systems is an added advantage.

1. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

2. Certifications in SAP Concur.

3. 3 to 8 Yrs. Experience in implementation and support for SAP Concur (Travel, Expense).

4. Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.

1. Ability to conduct functional reviews of configurations completed by other Implementation/Functional Consultants.

2. Ability to create and deliver functional documentation, such as CID, T&E policies, and process documentation.

3. Ability to review iterative deliverable versions with clients to ensure appropriate sign-off procedures.

4. Familiarity with key fields and formats of all key integrations from and to SAP Concur - employee import, list import (for cost objects), attendee import, and standard accounting extract. Additional expertise on integration points, formats, or transfer mechanisms is favorable, but not mandatory.

5. Experience in SAP suites preferred.

6. Functional Trainings (internal and external): ability to provide various levels of training to client teams (back-office, system admin, configuration training, and specific SAP Concur role trainings).
