Job Overview

Purpose:

Foster business growth in targeted sectors through strategic planning, client engagement, and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft sales strategies for assigned sectors, identifying potential clients, highlighting customer needs, and forecasting market trends.
  • Monitor sales targets at the sector level on a weekly basis, highlighting deviations, and initiating corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure adherence to sales performance standards at the sector level.
  • Identify and develop pursuit plans for potential business opportunities from multiple channels.
  • Negotiate and finalize terms with clients regarding product specifications, payment terms, and timelines, obtaining approval from the Reporting Manager.
  • Maintain relationships with customers in the sector to facilitate a deep understanding of their requirements and direct swift resolution of any customer queries.
  • Identify opportunities for integrated solutions involving products and report to Reporting Managers.
  • Document customer specifications in relevant formats and forward to concerned departments.
  • Liaise with the operations team to ensure order execution aligns with predefined timelines and criteria.
  • Communicate changes in order specifications to concerned departments and ensure timely dispatch of goods to clients' sites as per delivery schedules.
  • Ensure collections from clients as per contractual agreements.
  • Lead the establishment of service centers or identify partner agencies to provide quick after-sales services to customers.

  • Strong business development skills, including cross-selling and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to formulate sales plans, monitor targets, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
  • Leadership skills to establish service centers or partner agencies.
