Database Reliability Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Reliability Operations professional to support the administration, monitoring, and health checks of Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Provide daily administration, monitoring, and support for Oracle databases.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts/tools to automate repetitive DBA tasks such as patching, health checks, provisioning, and monitoring.
  • Platform Support: Support and administer Oracle workloads across on-premises, Exadata Cloud at Customer, and public cloud platforms including OCI, AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure, and GCP Cloud.
  • Automation and AI-Driven Insights: Improve service qualification and database lifecycle management through automation at an enterprise scale. Work on AI-driven insights to improve observability, reliability, and proactive incident prevention.
  • Performance Management: Manage database performance tuning, backup/recovery using RMAN and Data Guard, patching, and upgrades.
  • Security and Availability: Ensure database availability, resiliency, and security compliance 24/7/365.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
