Allegis is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical client to expand their development center in Hyderabad, India.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Reliability Operations professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support for Oracle databases (19c/21c and above).
  • Develop scripts/tools to automate repetitive DBA tasks (patching, health checks, provisioning, monitoring).
  • Support and administer Oracle workloads across on-premises, Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC), and public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure, GCP Cloud).
  • Improve service qualification and database lifecycle management through automation at an enterprise scale.
  • Work on AI-driven insights to improve observability, reliability, and proactive incident prevention.
Requirements:
  • 3-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle database technologies (RMAN, Data Guard, patching, upgrades).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
