Database Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Database Reliability Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in providing day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support for Oracle databases (19c/21c and above).
  • They should also be proficient in developing scripts/tools in Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar to automate repetitive DBA tasks (patching, health checks, provisioning, monitoring).
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and administering Oracle workloads across on-premises, Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC), and public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure, GCP Cloud).
  • They will improve service qualification and database lifecycle management through automation at an enterprise scale.
  • The Database Reliability Engineer will work on AI-driven insights to improve observability, reliability, and proactive incident prevention.
  • They will manage database performance tuning, backup/recovery (RMAN, Data Guard), patching, and upgrades.
  • The successful candidate will ensure database availability, resiliency, and security compliance 24/7/365.

Candidates with experience in product-based organizations are preferred.
