About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Investment Banking Team. The role involves coverage of the Technology sector, strategic origination, and execution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions.

  • Lead coverage across Technology sector including IT Services, Technology, SAAS, Telecom, and allied sub-sectors.
  • Originate and execute ECM transactions including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, and other capital market activities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with corporates, financial investors, sovereign funds, and government bodies.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of complex transactions such as restructuring, corporate strategy, fund-raising, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to expand mandates in PE, M&A, and Structured Finance within the four sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to position our organization as a trusted client partner and lifecycle banker.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to build talent depth and team capability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance during all transactions.

Qualifications

  • MBA (Finance), CA, or relevant postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 10 years of Investment Banking experience, with a strong focus on ECM and Technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading ECM transactions and a deep understanding of Indian capital markets.
  • Extensive industry network with proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Equity Capital Markets (ECM).
  • Proven track record in IPO, deal origination, and execution.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing complex, large-scale transactions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
