Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the accuracy of our financial operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers with precision and speed.
- Meet delivery timelines for invoices to ensure seamless financial processes.
- Enter invoices into customer portals efficiently.
- Submit invoices through electronic data interchange seamlessly.
- Understand key invoicing areas specific to each customer.
- Thoroughly check each field on invoices before submission.
- Ensure all supporting documents and backups are attached to invoices.
- Timely update invoice submission status in our system.
- Maintain accurate records of invoice submissions and customer invoicing processes.
- Work closely with payroll and invoicing teams to accelerate invoice submission processes.
- Send out statements of accounts to customers in a timely manner.
- Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets to ensure AR hygiene.
- Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebills effectively.
- Maintain SOPs/standard guides for complete invoicing processes account-wise and update them regularly.
- Provide ongoing support for improving invoicing platforms.
- Assist credit control in invoicing and collection of payments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in invoicing.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table).
- Good analytical and process knowledge.
- Good accounting knowledge.
