Job Title: PROS CPQ SpecialistAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced PROS CPQ specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining business requirements, designing PROS and ERP-based business systems, supporting PROS configurations, and helping prepare development specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine Business Requirements:
    • Meet with business users, management, and other cross-functional teams to understand defined business requirements in sufficient detail.
    • Document functional business requirements in a requirements document.
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure complete requirements are defined and understood.
  • Design PROS and ERP-Based Business Systems:
    • Lead blueprinting sessions with external vendors and global cross-functional teams.
    • Evaluate solutions to business requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
    • Provide estimates of costs and clearly define risks.
    • Recommend programming enhancements when no standard solution is possible.
  • Support PROS Configurations:
    • Translate business requirements into configuration with help from other team members and consultants.
    • Document complex or unique configurations.
    • Develop, test, and migrate required configurations to production.
    • Obtain resolution to problems via the PROS ticketing software.
  • Help Prepare Development Specifications:
    • Document required functionality, input, and output for ABAP/CDS views/PROS Control & Guidance/PROS Smart CPQ.
    • Provide oversight to offshore developers to ensure requirements are understood.
    • Guide the team on unit test scenarios and test data.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience with PROS Control & Guidance and Smart CPQ.
    • Must have PROS Analytics and Pricing 301 certifications.
    • Nice to have: 3 years' experience in SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution – Pricing requirements and formula routines.
    • Experience with Oracle/PLSQL, XML, HTML, and Java is a plus.
    • English as a first or second language, sufficient for telephone consulting, email, training, and documentation in English.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
