Job Title: Software Engineer in Test

About the Role:

We're seeking an accomplished test automation expert to lead our initiative and drive quality assurance. You'll be responsible for defining test strategies, developing frameworks, and building platforms that improve QA team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own test strategies, estimation, and planning for Ecommerce and Health Tech features.
  • Architect and build automation platforms and frameworks for scalable, reusable, and maintainable test execution.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation across Web, Mobile, and APIs.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

You'll work with web (Cypress/Playwright), mobile (Appium), and API (RestAssured, Pytest, Postman/Newman) technologies. Your tasks include:

  • Building automated coverage for Ecommerce flows (search, checkout, payments, subscriptions, promotions, personalization) and Health Tech flows (consultations, doctor dashboards, patient journeys, wellness plans).
  • Integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines on AWS/GCP.
  • Identifying, debugging, and tracking defects with RCA, ensuring faster resolution and reduced defect leakage.
  • Building dashboards and reporting systems to track QA metrics.
  • Evaluating and integrating emerging testing tools and AI-powered strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
  • Proven experience in building test automation frameworks and platforms.
  • Strong experience in API automation (RestAssured, Pytest, Postman).
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
