Job Summary: We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the inspection, testing, and quality assurance of castings and metal components.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with third-party inspection agencies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP), and conducting various internal and external quality tests. Your expertise in precision instrument calibration and hands-on experience in destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection:
    • Visual Inspection
    • Dimensional Inspection
    • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
    • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Preparation and review of inspection reports (internal and third-party)
  • Coordination & Communication:
    • Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors
    • Ensuring smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements
  • Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):
    • Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements
  • Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:
    • Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors
    • Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis)
    • Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing
  • Technical Collaboration:
    • Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories
    • Ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards
  • Heat Treatment Process:
    • Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings
  • Measuring Instruments & Calibration:
    • Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges
