Job Title: Financial Efficiency Manager

     Financial Efficiency Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve the company's profitability.

  • Key Responsibilities:

     The role involves preparing product-wise profitability analysis and gross margin reports, developing monthly cost sheets, standard costing, and inventory valuations. Additionally, it requires analyzing manufacturing costs, comparing actual costs with standard costs, collecting and analyzing historical cost data for budgeting and forecasting.

  • Financial Reporting & MIS:

     The Financial Efficiency Manager will manage monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial closing processes, prepare and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports for management decision-making. It also entails ensuring accurate reconciliations of accounts, journal entries, and balance sheets, coordinating with auditors, and handling audit queries.

  • Audit & Compliance:

     This role involves preparing cost audit reports as per regulatory requirements, maintaining cost records, and ensuring adherence to Cost Accounting Standards. The Financial Efficiency Manager must present a fair and true financial view of the organization in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Coordination & Support:

     The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to gather cost data, supporting management in planning, organizing, and scheduling project costs. It also involves interacting with auditors, vendors, subcontractors, and team members for financial accuracy, assisting in treasury management, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.

  • Process Improvement:

     The Financial Efficiency Manager must evaluate financial data to improve accuracy and completeness, recommend cost control measures, and support performance improvement initiatives. This includes providing insights on turnover, profitability, and expenditure to management.

  • Requirements:

     To be successful in this role, you should have a strong educational background, preferably CMA / ICWA qualified or equivalent, along with 5-10 years of experience in costing, accounting, audit, and financial reporting. Proficiency in financial software, SAP/ERP systems, and MS Excel is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
