Job Title: Strategic Cost Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Cost Controller to lead our project accounting and capitalization initiatives.

  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to ensure overall capex is within approved budget and manage reporting on project progress, highlighting cost variance, actual spent, and forecasted cash flow.
  • Ensure timely funding of project commitments as per schedule and collaborate with teams for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Properly account for project costs, assets capitalization, and inventory management to accurately determine the true cost of the project.
  • Optimize state incentives, documentations, representations, and transfer pricing for compliance in inter-company transfers.
  • Partner with the treasury team for ECA and debt financing at optimized costs.
  • Monitor project inventory and reconcile with PMC's/sub-contractors.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Create standard policies, processes, and procedures that align with business objectives and monitor their adherence.
  • Mentor and develop respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.
