Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer - Onshore Oil and Gas

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for onshore oil and gas projects.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop comprehensive HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
  • Perform detailed heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using specialized software.
  • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using industry-standard tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Evaluate designs against relevant codes and regulations, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Analyze energy efficiency and optimize HVAC systems to minimize costs and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including MEP engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as mechanical engineering or architecture.
  • Proven experience in HVAC design and development, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
