Identity Access Management Engineer Opportunity

The organization is seeking a seasoned Identity Access Management (IAM) professional to lead the development and optimization of our IAM systems architectural strategy. This role will ensure secure user authentication and authorization across various platforms, contributing to the protection of company data.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the identity program with high attention to detail.
  • Research, analyze, and document findings.
  • Candidate may coach and review the work of other team members.
  • Lead in the design and deployment of advanced IAM solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of complex systems and applications into the IAM infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement IAM governance frameworks.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to identity services.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related incidents.

Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Ability to manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable work area.
  • Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business requirement.
  • 3+ year experience engineering and implementing IGA platforms.
  • 5+ year experience administrating the integrating and configuring of applications and systems into IGA platforms.
  • Experience conducting UAT sandbox testing and promotion with IGA platforms.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles.
  • Proficiency with enterprise IAM technology.
  • Deep knowledge of authentication protocols.
  • 5+ year advanced scripting for automation tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM architecture and design principles.
  • Knowledge of IAM-related security risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to conduct IAM-related audits and access reviews.

Education Recommendations:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business experience.
  • 6 years to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in IAM or advanced cybersecurity roles.

Preferred senior-level certifications include AZ-500, CIDPRO, CIAM, CIMP, and CCSP.
