Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled database administrator to lead our team in ensuring the performance, availability, security, and scalability of our mission-critical databases.

  • This individual will play a pivotal role in upgrading, migrating, and maintaining our SQL Server databases.
  • Key responsibilities include leading and executing SQL Server upgrade projects, designing and managing Always On Availability Groups in production environments, and planning and implementing database migrations to AWS with minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server upgrades, Always On Availability Groups, cloud migrations, and database performance optimization. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in SQL Server upgrades and migration to newer versions.
  • Strong understanding of Always On Availability Groups and high-availability solutions.
  • Experience with cloud migrations to AWS services such as RDS and EC2.
  • Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance.
  • Knowledge of database backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with application and infrastructure teams.
