  • Maintain high-performing mission-critical databases ensuring performance, availability, security, and scalability through regular upgrades and migrations.">
  • Design and manage Always On Availability Groups (HA/DR) in production environments to guarantee business continuity.">
  • Plan and execute database migrations to AWS (RDS, EC2, or other services) with minimal downtime to support business operations.">
  • Analyze and optimize SQL Server performance (queries, indexes, statistics, execution plans) to improve database efficiency.">
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and security.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain database reliability and efficiency.">
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database runbooks and standard operating procedures.">
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.">

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments with a proven track record of successful upgrades and migrations.">
  • Strong expertise in Always On Availability Groups and other HA/DR solutions with hands-on experience in cloud migrations (DMS, RDS, EC2, or hybrid solutions).">
  • Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization with solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security.">
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools for database administration is an advantage.">
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.">
