Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical control group, you will be responsible for managing and performing global technical control.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Demonstrate expertise in cloud-based data platforms and database administration tasks, ensuring robust data management and optimization.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control functionality for business rules (logic) in databases.
  • Pipeline Development: Design, build, develop, and manage pipelines using data technologies.
  • Migration and Collaboration: Understand data technologies and can migrate business rules from one data technology to another. Collaborate closely with the Application and Databricks team members to develop robust data solutions that support our security initiatives.
  • Data Optimization: Implement, monitor, and optimize data processes, ensuring adherence to security and data governance best practices.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implementation of monitoring and logging processes using cloud-based capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Documentation: Document procedures and workflows associated with data pipelines, contributing to best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge about latest cloud-based data trends and techniques.
  • Security Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of the system, identify possible security risks, and implement preventive measures.
Necessary Skills:
  • Excellent English: Excellent command of English language.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing database driven application and pipeline development using cloud-based data platforms.
  • Security Principles: Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data.
  • Data Transformations: Ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • ETL Solutions: Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using cloud-based data platforms or similar technologies.
  • CI/CD: Proficiency with CI/CD set for database objects release management.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Agile Development: Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc..) development process.
