Leadership Development Opportunity

Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini is a unique leadership development academy initiated in 1982 to nurture, impart training and build capacities of elected representatives, political and social workers.

The role of Chief Programme Officer involves leading the academy's initiatives, including Knowledge Excellence Centre (KEC), IIDL (Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership) and Socio-Political Research. This includes developing newer dimensions for current activities and ensuring their successful implementation.

To excel in this position, you will need ten years or more experience in program management, supervision, and budgeting skills. You should also have knowledge about socio-political environments and be able to identify training needs and offer relevant programs.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Establishing goals and prioritizing projects
  • Creating standards and monitoring quality and outcomes
  • Working closely with all stakeholder departments

Preferred qualifications include a graduate/postgraduate degree in sociology, political science, or related fields. Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is preferred, along with computer literacy and proficiency in word, excel, and PowerPoint.
