Insurance Underwriter Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriter to join our team. This role involves evaluating and underwriting SME insurance products, including Fire, Burglary, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and Miscellaneous policies.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to provide technical support in pitching and presenting insurance solutions to prospective and existing clients. They will design customized insurance programs based on client risk profiles and use digital tools to prepare impactful proposals and presentations.

  • Evaluate and underwrite SME insurance products for a range of industries and policy types.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to deliver tailored insurance solutions to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including insurers and industry partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 36 years of experience in Commercial Lines / SME insurance underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of EB & Non-EB products and relevant industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
