As a seasoned underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting SME insurance products including Fire, Burglary, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and Miscellaneous policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate complex risk profiles to design customized insurance programs that meet client needs.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support in presenting insurance solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop impactful proposals and presentations using digital and technical tools.
  • Liaise with insurers to obtain competitive quotes, terms, and underwriting approvals.
  • Ensure all underwriting activities comply with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders through effective communication and engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 36 years of experience in Commercial Lines / SME insurance underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance concepts and products.
  • Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
