Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our goals.

You will be responsible for shaping the SRE function within our CTO office and contributing to the development of the Group SRE team.

Additionally, you will work closely with a small group of SREs in platform engineering and operations teams, as well as wider infrastructure teams for both public cloud and on-premises platforms.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will set the direction for automation and operations engineering across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, drive, and implement the SRE strategy, promoting an 'Automate-first' culture in operating services.
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying toil-heavy and inefficient processes, and automating their elimination.
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency and enhance service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience as an SRE Practitioner with 5+ years working experience in a similar role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to Error Budgets.
