Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Ethnic Fashion Designer to spearhead the design of ethnic blouses with a focus on innovation and heritage appeal.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about hand-drawn designs and has experience in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Conceptualization: Develop innovative and appealing ethnic blouse designs that cater to the current market trends.
  • Sketch Creation: Create detailed sketches for new collections using traditional hand-drawn techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product and sampling teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest ethnic trends, embroidery techniques, and fabric innovations.
  • Design Feasibility: Collaborate with the sourcing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality output.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in ethnic wear.
  • Strong ability in hand sketching and freehand illustration.
  • A degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of blouse fits, silhouettes, fabric detailing, and embellishments.
  • A keen eye for detail, color combinations, and ethnic design sensibilities.

Bonus qualifications include experience working with saree or ethnic apparel brands, or passion for reviving traditional crafts through contemporary silhouettes.
