Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in techno-functional business analysis and experience in data analysis with any BFS domain or wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture and document business requirements
  • Analyze the impact of changes and support the business throughout the implementation process
  • Map business requirements to system functionalities
  • Have technical experience in Oracle PL/SQL querying databases

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in banking, shared services, or finance industry
  • Exposure to working with data warehouses and regulatory reporting frameworks
  • Experience in anti-financial crime and transaction monitoring desired
  • Bachelor's degree and/or finance-related courses with a proven record of accomplishment
  • ACAMS or similar industrial accreditation a plus
  • Possessing work exposure in transaction monitoring on different products, regions, and being well-versed in AML regulations required
  • Understanding of products, business, and operational processes with exposure to business analysis required
  • A self-starter able to manage in a complex environment
  • A team player who continually collaborates and shares information
  • Able to simplify and standardize solutions
  • Persistent in driving quality and excellence
  • Architecturally minded with an ability to simplify complex activities
  • Influencer and problem-solving person
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal) additional language(s) an advantage
  • Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization with stakeholders spread across geographies
  • Understanding of executing projects in agile (scrum) methodology
  • Able to identify and interpret stakeholders' needs and requirements
  • Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations
