Job Title: Senior Merchandiser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end process of getting leather products from design to delivery.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage orders from initial inquiries to final shipment, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Source materials, components, and accessories, ensuring quality, cost, and availability.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient and timely production, monitor progress, and address any issues.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams, and negotiate prices, quantities, and timelines.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in product development, including material sourcing, costing, and sampling.
  • Monitor market trends and customer preferences to anticipate future demand and identify new product opportunities.
  • Manage inventory levels, optimize stock turnover, and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budget planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and develop solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and relationship-building.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP systems, and understanding of leather manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with different types of leather, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and create reports.
