Senior Oracle DBA Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle DBA Lead with cloud migration experience to oversee our database migration programs across Data Center and cloud platforms.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end migration lifecycle management, including assessment, planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization. This involves migrating Oracle databases across various environments, such as Data Center-to-Data Center, AWS-to-AWS, Azure-to-Azure, Oracle Exadata (Exadata to Exadata, Exadata to ExaCC), and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.

You will also be responsible for implementing backup and recovery procedures using Rubrik and RMAN for incremental syncs, PITR, and rollback procedures. Additionally, you will develop data purging and archival strategies to optimize database size and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer implementation and management.
  • Rubrik, RMAN, OEM, data purging, retention policies, and troubleshooting skills in Exadata/ExaCC environments.
  • Cloud-native database solutions in AWS and Azure, including RDS, EC2, S3, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Recovery Vaults.
