Job Title

This short-term contract requires a skilled Database Specialist to support a critical migration project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate data, scripts, and layouts from existing database solutions to the target platform.
  • Review current databases to identify dependencies, integration points, and migration challenges.
  • Handle blank tables that need to be re-mapped to ensure a successful migration.
  • Re-map all SQL fields in the database.
  • Update national vending machine numbering for healthcare providers.
  • Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Document migration steps, configuration changes, and best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to address requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience as a database developer (database design, scripting).
  • Good understanding of database architecture, relational models, and integrations.
  • Ability to deliver within short timelines and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work during business hours.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with database migrations or upgrades.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations, APIs, or plugins.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Background in freelance/consulting with proven on-time delivery.

The selected candidate should have strong technical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
