Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Professional to join our team.

  • Design, implement and maintain databases using SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Database Design and Implementation
  2. Maintain database integrity by ensuring timely backups and restores.
  3. Manage deployments and ensure adherence to best practices.
  4. Collaborate with the security team to ensure database security.
  5. Coordinate database migrations between servers and versions.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases.
  7. Work with vendor support on any issues that require assistance.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.
  9. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure system availability and performance.
  10. Create Change Management Requests with IT and Development.
  11. Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  12. Provide Power BI support.
  13. Collaborate with the development team for AI integrations.
  14. Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  15. Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
  16. Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.
  17. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards.
  18. Implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI.
  19. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query and data modeling.
