Database System ArchitecturesJob Summary:We are seeking an expert in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL, experience with relational and non-relational databases, solid programming skills in Python or Java, and hands-on experience with API development and cloud platforms.Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management and Modeling: 
    • Design and implement database schemas for storing and retrieving time-series financial data.
    • Develop and optimize ETL processes for ingesting data from various market sources in real-time.
    • Maintain data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all databases.
  • API Development and Integration: 
    • Create robust and efficient APIs to provide programmatic access to both historical and real-time market data for internal and external users.
    • Implement data retrieval services that can handle high throughput and low-latency queries.
  • Performance and Scalability: 
    • Architect and manage database solutions capable of handling extremely high write and read loads associated with tick-by-tick data.
    • Implement advanced performance tuning techniques, including indexing, query optimization, and caching strategies.
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring: 
    • Monitor database performance, conduct regular health checks, and troubleshoot issues in a high-pressure environment.
    • Implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
