Senior Fund Accountant Role

We're seeking a seasoned Fund Accounting Professional to take on key responsibilities involving fund-level accounting and portfolio oversight.

About the Job:
  • Manage monthly financial reporting, ensure GAAP compliance, and oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Record and track interest, fee, and equity income across structured deals.
  • Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Support CPAs on tax prep, filings, and fund administration, providing expert guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies, flagging variances and ensuring consistency across multiple industries.
  • Maintain GAAP-compliant reporting across diverse industries, leveraging expertise in U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct fund accounting experience (private equity, private debt, or fund admin required).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Background working with companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range.
  • Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
